Meet Results at Swim Connection

I would like to send a big congratulations to all of the swimmers, coaches and families of the SASO swim team. This weekend was one of the most successful championship meets that this team has ever had. We now have twelve swimmers qualified for Far Westerns which is one of the most prestigious age group championship meets in the country. They will be facing both national and international competition and we have four young swimmers who will be making their first appearance in this important meet. We should recognize Caleb and Tyler Dennis, Sophia Anderson, and Taylor Stephens on this great accomplishment.

The team also qualified it's youngest senior sectional meet qualifier when Christopher Wieser went 10:10 .8 in the 1000 Free on Friday. He will join the senior team and travel to Southern California in July to compete in this meet.

We had across the board best times and top 10 medalists including Olivia Salvador, Casey Samera, Camille Long and Grace Lapuz.

I would also like to thank the parents who worked hard this weekend and helped make this such a successful meet. It's successful weekends like this that keeps a coach like myself who has been doing this for over 25 years excited about the future of our sport and this team.
